Sports Rehabilitation Therapist
Kassia is an experienced and knowledgeable sports massage therapist having graduated from the University West of England with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Rehabilitation. Previous to this, she completed Level 5 diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage with the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork.
Kassia specialises in working with individuals suffering with tight muscles from training or day to day life and uses a blend of many soft tissue techniques to alleviate these issues and get you back to your best.
Alongside her work at The Thornbury Clinic Kassia is a professional pole dance coach who has competed nationally, placing 2nd in the Professional Category of The UK Professional Pole Championships. Additionally, she has competed in, and won, many regional competitions throughout her 7-year competitive history.
In addition to her understanding of pole dance, she has experience working with circus performers, hand balancers and those wishing to increase their flexibility in a safe, effective way.
Kassia enjoys helping people gain informed advice around how to train efficiently and reduce their risk of injury. Her experience helps her understand the stress that can be put on the body, from day-to-day life to athletic and competitive training and truly believes that with the right rehabilitation and treatment, she can help her clients get the most out of their body.
