Megan Miller-Zutshi
Lead Physiotherapist, Clinical Director
Megan is the Lead Physiotherapist and Clinical Director at The Thornbury Clinic. With over 15 years experience in private practice and professional sport she has extensive knowledge in her field.
Having previously completed an MSc in Sport Science at Loughborough University, Megan return to university to study Physiotherapy where she graduated with honours in 2007. Following this she went straight into working in a private musculoskeletal clinic in London, treating a variety of patients and teaching gym based and pilates rehabilitation. In 2011 Megan headed off to New Zealand for 18 months, where she worked in private practice as a Senior Physiotherapist, treating patients and teaching pilates.
She returned to Bristol for the 2012 rugby season, working at Bristol Rugby Club and also became involved with Bristol University, providing physio for the men’s rugby team and pilates rehabilitation for the men’s football team.
Over the years Megan has worked within a variety of different sports, including Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, Ipswich Town Youth Football Club, the Karate World University Championships, BUCS events and the School Games.
Megan uses a number of treatment techniques within her treatment plans, including a wide range of manual therapy skills, acupuncture and exercise prescription. She is dedicated to helping her patients get the most out of their treatment and help them return to their optimal function and performance as quickly as possible.
In her spare time Megan likes to keep fit and active and enjoys playing rugby, gym work, running, family bike rides and the occasional sprint triathlon.
