Jemma is a senior physiotherapist with over 15 years experience working in both private practice and the NHS. Jemma advanced practitioner role in the NHS involves resolving complex musculoskeletal conditions and working closely with orthopaedic consultants and multidisciplinary teams, particularly in lower limbs and spinal health.
Jemma also has experience working in women’s health and particularly post natal care and this is an area of interest for her.
Jemma’s has a keen interest in movement mechanics and analysis. Her work in practice practice has been focussed on working work with some of the highest level athletes in varying sports such as Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit and Cycling. Jemma focusses on biomechanics, injury prevention, training programmes and soft tissue therapy.
Jemma has attended courses and additional training on soft tissue techniques, tendinopathy management, muscle energy techniques and kinesiology taping. As well as advanced training in Bloods, Diagnostic Imaging Interpretation and Advanced Clinical Reasoning.
