Remedial Massage

Let us help you to recover from injury or help manage a chronic condition.

The aim of Remedial Massage is to create a favourable environment for the body so that the client can return to normal health after an injury, illness or when suffering with a chronic condition. Your Remedial Massage therapist will use skilled manipulation combined with in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address chronic conditions, postural or soft tissue imbalances, as well as improving circulation, reducing pain and bringing a sense of general well-being.

What can remedial massage help with?

Remedial Massage is effective in treating a wide range of conditions and ailments such as, but not limited to:

• Tension Headaches • Migraine • Stress • Anxiety • Arthritis • Poor Sleep Health/Insomnia

• Chronic Pain • Repetitive strain injuries • Asthma • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome • Sprains

• Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)

What Techiques will be used?

Remedial Massage techniques are used to assess your body, observe changes over time and help design treatment plans for each client. Your Remedial Massage therapist will formulate a treatment plan, which may include several different styles of massage including deep tissue massage and even passive stretching. The goal is to stimulate blood flow to the damaged or painful area, to promote faster healing and enhance neurological relaxation. Your progress will also be regularly checked against physical issues identified in your initial assessment and your treatment programme will be amended accordingly.
