Penny is the clinical hypnotherapist at the Thornbury Clinic. Alongside being a Clinical hypnotherapist she is a life coach and certified NLP Master Practitioner.
Penny holds a degree in psychology along with a Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD), a gold-standard qualification verified by the National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH) and the Northern Council for Further Education (NCFE). I’m registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the Professional Hypnotherapy Network.
Penny's fascination in the human mind was grounded at a young age. After spending her early career in the world of brand and design, she turned her attention toward the in-house development of the organisation’s people and employee engagement and retention. This is where she developed her love of coaching and helping individuals and teams overcome barriers to improve their performance and develop their potential.
Penny has successfully helped patients to achieve their goals and overcome issues such as stress and anxiety, irregular sleeping patterns unwanted habits and fears and phobias. Penny also helps patients to nurture and promote a healthy self esteem and has also aided patients to achieve their performance goals in both life, sport and their career.
Penny trained as a clinical hypnotherapist with the highly regarded Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis where she received comprehensive, evidence based clinical hypnotherapy training and qualified with the industry leading Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma. She is registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the Professional Hypnotherapy Network and undertake regular CPD (Continued Professional Development) and supervision. Penny also works with the Professional Hypnotherapy Network as their CPD Officer and assists the team with the organisation of the UK Hypnosis Convention, the UK’s largest professional hypnosis conference, which takes place on an annual basis.
