Senior Physiotherapist

Nick is a Senior Physiotherapist and Shockwave Therapy Lead at The Thornbury Clinic and has a detailed knowledge of treating a wide range of patients from the young elite athlete, to the more senior individual who just wants to get back to doing what they love. Alongside his work at the clinic, Nick works as a senior physiotherapist in the NHS and with the RFU as a sports physiotherapist offering pitch side trauma support at Twickenham; “The home of England Rugby”.

Coupled with his experience in sports injuries, Nick has over 6 years experience in the NHS working with more senior patients to help rehabilitate them from injury and get them back doing what they love. He is able to look at functional aspects of your day or work that are impacting on your injury, and give insight into immediate changes and future prevention of injury. Due to this experience he is expertly placed to help work with patients to create a rehabilitation program that is right for them.

Having gained his degree in Physiotherapy Nick has gone on to do post graduate courses in both Spinal Manipulation and Acupuncture allowing him to use a wide varieties to treat both sporting and non sporting injuries.

Outside of work nick is a keen sportsman having played at a high level in hockey and when not on the hockey field you will find him working on his driving at the golf course.
